One plant, one standard: automated forming, robotic welding, in-house heat treatment and coating, and a calibrated test rig that proves every production lot against API Spec 10D.
Every product family is qualified to its governing specification before it ships: centralizers and stop collars to API Spec 10D, float valves to the flow-endurance categories of API RP 10F, casing hardware to API 5CT. Quality management is certified to API Q1 and ISO 9001:2015, environment to ISO 14001, and occupational safety to OHSAS 18001.
Qualification at Casewell means the production article, not a golden sample: bow profiles, collar holding force and valve endurance are proven on the same lines that build the shipping product.
Every bow profile is proven on a calibrated load-deflection rig to the starting, running and restoring-force requirements of API Spec 10D — and production lots are tested, not sampled.
Beyond the API regime we run tensile and compression checks so a distorted bow stays intact rather than fracturing and shedding metal downhole.
Automated lines carry each product through four stages. Consistent by design, not by inspection.
Heavy-duty presses blank and form bows, collars and vanes from heat-treated spring steel and low-carbon strip. Flexible tooling with quick changeover lets the same lines move across some 10,000 product variants without retooling downtime.
Robotic cells lay uniform continuous welds at the bow-to-collar joint — the load path of every welded centralizer — to ASME Section VIII Div I procedures. Each lot then passes dimensional and holding-force inspection before it moves on.
A transfer-line furnace carries formed bows through heating, forming, washing, cooling and tempering with no manual handling — automated transfer keeps operators away from hot work, and the in-house temper line keeps spring memory consistent batch to batch.
A PLC-driven pretreatment and acrylic cathodic electro-deposition line coats every surface — including bores and weld shadows a spray gun cannot reach. The eco-friendly acrylic CED film resists corrosion and H2S, replacing solvent-heavy coating under the plant's ISO 14001 system.
Volume without variance: the plant is sized so quality never competes with delivery. Detailed capacity and qualification data available on request.
